I started experimenting with moss gardening in 2019 when I was burned out with work, and needed a hobby that allowed me to get me outside and be creative.

I live in a heavily forested part of Pennsylvania, USA, where moss grows in abundance. Since it was already in my yard and easy to work with, I immediately became obsessed with creating moss designs in my garden.

The moss garden turned into a moss lawn, moss art, and moss terrariums. I also started making mixed media art with other natural materials from the forest, including ferns, leaves, and flowers.
